Of EQ and Diapers.
Posted on Oct 27, 2007 under Martha |Let this serve as a lesson learned well. Martha, being a baby girl, has always used a certain brand of protective underwear or diaper ever since she was born - a clue can be found in my blog post title *wink* (Add the word “Dry”). I figured since we were breastfeeding, I can afford to get her nice pampers :D. So it continued until this year. A month ago, I decided to cut corners in our budget, and since Martha will be turning 18months soon, I figured I can start the slow walk to potty training. So I bought overrun diapers you will normally see in the market - around 110pesos for around 15pieces I think. Martha (specifically her tush) surprisingly accepted it well. I still have her in branded diapers when we go out and at night, but the savings we get cannot be beat! Hopefully, next year, the pampers expense will be gone. I plan to stick with Gain Plus until she turns 3, or until she wants milk. (We have a strong history of milk “sawa”. I stopped drinking milk at 2 years old and so did Matthew.)
