That was all we did yesterday. My parents were in Pampanga so we were alone in Amadeo yesterday. Matthew and Martha stayed 60% of the time outside, walking hand in hand, or running, or playing tag. For the first time, Matthew was off the computer (Dad’s laptop didnt have Pokemon games), and off the TV (they didnt have cable as well). Martha really was enjoying her big brother’s attention. There was one instance when we were about to go inside and Matthew was leading, Martha called him and said some jibber language I can’t understand and extended out her hand – she wanted to hold hands with her brother! How sweet, ain’t it?
Apparently, Martha has a playmate who is as old as Matthew and the girl would often hold hands with Martha to guide her. At around 5PM, the sun was setting already and the it was getting colder but that didn’t stop the kids, they just got the jackets and hats and played again. Thankfully, the landscape lighting along the parking space of the retreat house was fixed already so we had amply lighting. I was dead tired! Come to think of it, it really was good for me too. 50% of the time I was just sitting and taking pictures but it is better than me sitting in front of the computer again
