Baby Talk

From Friday on Five:

1. Are there any babies in your family or circle of friends?
In my HS group, just two out of the seven or eight – Im not close to them that much anymore. In my college group, two out of us four (we are a tight bunch), and one of us are planning to have a baby next year.

2. Are you one of those people who use a high-pitched, sing-song voice when talking to babies and small children?
Nope. Im actually the type who babies fear. So you can guess my favorite is a baby or kid who doesnt get intimidated by me :D . Ang laging panakot sa mga pamangkin ko ay, “Ayan na si Tita Aggie, sige.” LOL

3. If you were standing in line next to a *very* pregnant stranger at the bank or grocery store, what would you say to her?
Nothing. Im not really one who makes small talk with people I don’t know. Di naman sa mataray, di lang talaga ako ganun :) .

4. Similarly, what do you say or do near babies in public?
If the baby or toddler is really bibo and caught my attention, I will most likely say a compliment to the kids’ parents, most especially if they come to our table and play with my kids. We get that a lot.

5. When walking through a department store, are you the sort of person who can go by the baby clothes without even a glance or do you have to stop to ooh and ahh?
I glance kasi pinapagaya namin sa MIL ko :) . Plus, I normally check what are the trends so I can take care not to have my kids wear the same things, LOL, isnabera eh no? My kids naman are like me, classic wearers. Di talaga sa character ko – manang kasi.
