Maybe the house without Martha lets me focus on Matthew for once. Five years as being the only kid made him really bratty, but after Martha was born he transformed 360 degrees. Edil and I are joking that for Martha to change, we think we need to have another kid, LOL.

Anyway, on to Matthew stories.

Last Tuesday, Edil had dinner with doctors so we were alone in the house. It was 10.30PM already and since Matthew was not going to school the following day, I decided it was OK for him to stay up late. I was busy in front of the computer trying to blog when all of a sudden Matthew comes to me and says, “Mommy, anong nangyari?”

He was holding his hand with a finger bleeding profusely. Syempre, si Mommy (kahit na nurse na, LOL) nagpanic.

I was saying, “What happened?” panicking and “Ikaw kasi eh!” annoyed to death, hahaha. I was really making dakdak. Apparently, he was playing with his Dad’s swiss knife and cut himself. The cut is small but I guess deep – because it wont stop bleeding. And since he knew I would be mad, he didnt tell me right away. I just saw it when there were so many drops of blood in his shirt, on the floor and everywhere else. So in between my dakdaks, I think I said, “Bahala ka, di na yan titigil” blah blah blah.

So we were are the sink and I was trying to put his finger in running water when all of a sudden he bursts into tears. As in hagulgol. So ako naman, nainis lalo, sabi ko, “Ano bang problema mo? Di naman na masakit yan!”

Sabi ng anak ko in between cries,
“Mommy, mamamatay na ba ako?”

BWAHAHAHAHA!!
I died laughing. Matthew, upon seeing me laugh, knew I was just being so dakdakera when I told him the bleeding wont stop and laughed. Buti di sya napikon. (Pikon kasi anak ko, hehehe).
