Web Revamp Update

Ugh! Im this.close to throwing up!!! If anyone knows how to pad my sidebars and tell me how to differentiate link color CSS codes, Id owe you for life and if I can afford, pay you! LOL. I want my two sidebars to have a distinct color and have the text not go all the way to the border…and notice there is space on top between the post and the header? Id like to put my Menu Pages *up* there. How do I do that?!

I need to sleep, it’s our second year wedding anniversary!

You probably guessed right - Im still trying to fix it, LOL Dzoi is helping me, pero di ko pa rin sya ma-gets, hahaha! Di ako makablog na di maayos ang blog ko, kakainis!!!

hay naku aggie. know how you feel… lalo na ako, always relying on the ready to use templates… bilib nga ako sa yo eh… revamping your blog always. good luck sa atin (lalo na sa akin), wish ko lang kahit konti magawa kong ganito ang blog ko… hehehe…

Hi there. I can help, if I understand your problem.

In CSS, this is how you add padding. First, sepcify if you are padding a table or a part of the table like so:
table.Sidebars { } or td.Sidebars { }, I usually use td…

td.Sidebars { padding: 4px; } will put padding all the way around but you can also specifiy if you ONLY want the sides like so
td.Sidebars { padding: 0px; padding-left: 4px; padding-right: 4px } There are other ways to note it, but this is the best compatibility between IE and Mozilla

I am not sure how to help with the menu pages as I am not sure how you are setting up your code or what sort of template you are using. To add HTML tables into a page you will have to manually put them into your code. If you email me I can show you where to put it. CSS will only edit what tables are already there in your code.

To change background colors:
td.Sidebars { padding:0px; padding-left: 4px; padding-right: 4px; background-color:#FFFFFF; }
To use a background image:
td.Sidebars { padding:0px; padding-left: 4px; padding-right: 4px; background-image:url(’http://www.digiscraping.com/images/…’); background-position: top center; background-repeat:repeat-x; }

There are also different options to choose for the background repeat and positions. I hope this helps some! Feel free to email me and have a great night!
