To the professional world, I am Mary Agatha S. Austriaco-Aviso, RMT, RN. I have two degrees, passed two board exams, have two professional licenses and work in call center. How ironic and anti-climactic. The most number of times I have donned a laboratory coat or nursing scrubs was around 5 times a month for a year at most. All that is going to change. I plan to “moonlight” in a dialysis center or train for half a day every week starting June. I am just finalizing my schedule around my kids and Edil. And maybe two to three months after, Im going to wearing nursing scrubs at least four times a week? I certainly hope so.
I am one of those people who work for the money. I am not ashamed to admit that. I have worked hard for four years and a half, put myself through school, a one year separation, a wonderful reconciliation, a dream wedding, a very huge pregnancy, 10 months of breastfeeding, and still working, hard. Many people have (Im sure) wondered where Edil was in all of these. Is he doing his share? Why does she need to work so hard? He, during those times, was, literally, the man of the house. I have not regretted having him at home for two years (on and off) bonding with Matthew. Matthew needed to establish a foundation with his Dad, albeit four years late.
I really really really pray that this is it, the break we have all been waiting and wishing for. Please keep your fingers crossed for me. (Your toes, as well!)

If there is one thing I really have let go ever since I became a mom, that is taking care of my skin. It is actually quite a blessing that I still have nice skin even if I dont apply any cream on it. However, sun exposure is going to be the culprit of fine lines and wrinkles and I better find some skinceuticals for my skin. My skin is very sensitive and prone to drying. I easily break out in rashes and the only that has suited me are baby products or very expensive stuff. I need to look for something within my budget!

..for me to make cards and yet easy for me to make layouts? The finished layout card you see will be/is Martha’s invite. I kept changing the colors and rotating everything. I tried (unsuccessfully) to get a newer picture of her today but she was not cooperating. I would not have stopped if Edil had not “tried to help”. He kept suggesting fonts I would never use in any layout so I stopped. What do you think? My relatives loved it though. I guess if you are not a scrapper, you will appreciate the simplest things. They could not believe I was the one who made it. And that it was printed at home. It was just printed on a photo paper and we glued cardstock at the back with a map heading to the place and some guidelines.
This weekend was packed, scrap wise, money wise (haaaaay), and event wise. I hope I can come back tomorrow with a good update. Divisoria Mall has sucked my money and energy dry today.
So Ill end it here. I will scrap some more. Oh! I did scrap some fab pages, if I may say so myself, but I cannot show it to you until NSD. And nope, it is not posted on my Flickr yet! *snoopy people*

One of my goals this year to cook a very delicious meal for my family – not necessarily all the time. But I want to prepare a very special meal that I would get compliments for once for cooking nicely! I havent had any compliments on a nicely cooked meal! I have concluded that is simply because I lack cooking tools. So I have been looking for a cookware that not only sells cooking equipment but can educated me what that equipment is for.
Any suggestions?

It is a good thing my husband and I have the same tastes on home furniture. We like the minimalist, homey type of furniture, a cross between minimalistic shabby and minimalistic modern. I love clean lines on furniture – bordering on simple even but I like having homey accents like an earthy rug or a rattan frame to accent the table. I dont want edgey furniture as we still have a toddler very prone to bumping! Im scared of accidents! Im really looking forward to owning our own home!
