New (Personal) Look.

Im coordinating with a friend to revamp and rescue my dying sense of style. It is not for lack of trying but for lack of sizes…truly! I have size 11 wide feet and size 16-18 clothes so Im more of the heavy (very heavy in fact) side. With free sizes being very abundant here, I know I need to shop online.

And what better way to do so with all the money I’ve earned? :D

Discovering an Old Love.

Before you go thinking Im doing something unfaithful, let me explain.

I have been breastfeeing for the past 10 months, and I stopped two weeks ago. Prior to that I was pregnant for 9 months. I was so into sweets all the time but gave up one thing.

My Starbucks Coffee.

I would still drink coffee, but heavily diluted for fear of caffeine overdose to an already hyperactive Martha.

You don’t know how I felt when I ordered my Venti Caramel Macchiato earlier.

More so when I took my first hot sip.

Ah, pure bliss.

And can I just add and gloat that Red Ribbon offered mango cream pie again? I think I would need to buy an entire pie :)

The simple joys food give me :D

Ongoing Saga.

And I thought I’d never have anything good to say to them.

Right now, for a week, my stress levels have been greatly reduced because of our househelp. The two maids we have right now are efficient and related to each other so I do not have any problems with quarrels and work envy. We eat good cooked meals, Martha’s things are arranged, someone can look after Martha while I attend to my own business (blogging and scrapping and finally reading my idea books) and I can finally go out of the house without having to take a baby bag, the stroller and THE baby with me :) .

I do not know how long this will last – they will last – but for now, I’m thankful my household life is not peaceful. Now to concentrate on work :) .

I do not know how parents can get by without paid househelp in the US. My relatives would assure me that I will adapt (me and Edil will) and there are automated machines to help us (like a dishwasher and washing machine that does not need to be loaded and unloaded to the dryer!). That was one of my apprehensions in migrating there when the kids are still young. For sure, one of us will need to stay home. And I am sure Edil will be it. And I know we will be both frustrated with it.

But we need to adapt and change and be flexible.
We still have at least a year left.

NO MORE BABIES FOR NOW!

Advertising Genius.

There is a new advertising concept that is so unique that the creator has already had the idea patented. Go to
www.headforthetop.com and find out yourself what all this is all about!Basically what it is about is the network allows game boards of various sizes to be placed on the web site. The ads then compete for top position: the top of the board, by playing rock, paper & scissors. Each box is assigned (user choice) either rock, paper or scissors. The advertisements can be text or images. Its a novel idea designed to attract interest to the pixel advertising style of website.

Today I laughed.

..I laughed so hard that I could not breathe and had tears rolling down my face. I laughed so hard over the most mundane things and giggled over a starting infatuation. I laughed so hard because I had such a great time listening to people talk.

And I had a warm feeling when I had a talk with Glo about my scrapping style :)

It was such a great day.

I would like people who visit my blog (in the North America) to take a look at this super cool contest: Remodel, Blog & Win! In a nutshell, you just need to blog about your home improvement project and you could win $5000! That’s the grand prize. You can also win $1000 which is the People’s Choice Award. Even if you do not win, think about the increased exposure your blog will get, being on the contestants’ list will create a lot of exposure for your site from a wide spectrum of viewers, including; homeowners, other bloggers, press, sponsors and focused search engine visitors. You can meet other bloggers and if you have something great to write about, and if you monetize your blog, the contextual ads that generally show for home improvement related content usually pay well. These are excellent paying clicks, and because there is much competition in the home improvement market, the ads are generally well written, well focused, and convert to clicks well.If you do not have a blog, you can easily get one! There is a link on how to get started blogging on the site. You must be 18 years of age as of March 1, 2007. For the cash prize, entrant must be a legal resident of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, or a legal resident of Canada, excluding the residents of the Province of Quebec. Home improvement projects and related blog and/or website posts that began BEFORE the contest begin date are FULLY ELIGIBLE. Contest begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on Thursday, March 1, 2007, and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. EST on Friday, August 24, 2007. Contest Winners will be announced on Saturday, September 1, 2007. Public voting of contestant websites and automatic entry into the random voter draw will begin at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on Friday, May 1, 2007, OR, once we reach 100 contest entries, whichever comes first.

Just enter the contest using the form available on site.

Have fun and goodluck!

You might have noticed the absence of scraps here in my blog. Im resurrecting my old wedding blog into a scrap blog and from now, all things scrappa will be posted there.

I also have a Flick Account, where you can see my latest pages.

And as of now, my hands are itching to spend again on all the upcoming (and ongoing) sales at digiland. Im controlling myself because a) I want to buy another hard drive and upgrade my RAM, b) Im now approaching 200 layouts and I want to start printing them by batches!, c) Im so blessed to be in way too many cool teams to even have time to scrap for more kits! LOL, d) I want to save.

I did buy something yesterday though, LOL. (Forget about the previous paragraph!). I’ve been looking FOREVER for this book and I finally found it on eBay for…guess what? $3.99!! No wear and tear! I remember Tali saying that is her most favorite book of all time so I wanted to get that :) It should be shipped to my Mom this week..thanks Mare!

With the presence of two househelp, I am now back to scrapping a page a day, which is still slow for me as I have five pages of “to be scrapped ideas” but..as they say, it is all about the memories!

I got the premier issue of the Digital Scrapbooking Magazine as well (thanks to www.ideabooks4.com!). Im still waiting for the DW Stamping book. Did I also mention I have the CK March edition magazine? And well, yes, Im so inspired with CD Muckosky! Such awesome and rare talent – her layouts really have “heart”.

So enough about the scrap updates, scrap more with the sweet stuff :)
