It is always ironic that there are more reported abortions in this world and more couples seeking fertility treatments because they want to have a child of their own.

Infertility is a medical condition, and, as more and more insurance companies recognize the need for coverage, more couples will have access to these procedures.

What is IVF?

In Vitro Fertilization technically mean “fertilization outside of the body.” While considered an experimental procedure for years, IVF has been a proven way for many couples to build their family. What is PGD?

PGD or preimplantation genetic diagnosis is sometimes also referred to as preimplantation testing.

PGD is made possible through the use of IVF (in vitro fertilization). In short, a woman is first given fertility drugs to stimulate the development of multiple eggs in her ovaries. She is monitored during this time with blood tests and ultrasounds. At the appropriate time, the eggs are removed in a process known as an (oocyte) egg retrieval. Once the eggs are removed, they are inspected under the microscope to determine which eggs are mature and normal appearing. Each of these eggs will then have a single sperm injected into them.

..when I was Queen of the Prom. Eek, it embarrasses me to even say it out loud. But, yes, I was. And it is a cherished memory (I can only look back with fondness since Im obviously not beauty queen material anymore!). I was look at 2007 prom dresses today and I am amazed by the how dresses from 10 years ago are still the basic classic dresses we have today. Elegance never really goes out of style.

Summer is near! Time for planning vacations, saving up for out of twon trips, having pedicures, going shopping for bathing suits! I am particularly excited these days because this is Martha’s first summer and it will be her first swimming pool experience. Im actually deliberating if Id just have her first birthday as a pool party at my grandmother’s resort but I am scared of having to be responsible for a lot of kids swimming in the pool even with a lifeguard present. I wish I can shop for swimsuits though but that would be something I would not be able to wear for now, not unless I really get serious with losing weight. Just a tip though, for scrapbookers, choose bright colors for kids’ swimwear so it will really pop out in the photos! Me and Edil are seriously planning to go to Subic for a weekend this summer. He has already given me the go signal to look and plan and even do bookings.

Since I am making big money on the side, my resolve to really have a substantial amount of savings has hardened and Im determined to make 2007 my YEAR.

Here are my tips on how to save:

1. Eliminate all credit card debt. If you have an existing card, make use of 0% balance transfers and reward points each credit card company has to offer. Find which works for you.

2. Make sure you can pay mortgages over a long period of time. Find the best deals with the lowest interest rate and felxible payment terms.

3.To keep track of spending, have one savings account which you forget to have and make use of your current accounts to track spending.

4.Minimize, or if you can avoid it, don’t avail of personal loans.

5. Invest on home insurance.

If for example, her hair has been severely damaged because of coloring, for heaven’s sake, wear a wig! What’s next - Orlando cosmetic surgery?

My wish got granted.

When Mommy comes home, a Canon  Rebel xTi is going home with her. All because of a thread in the Bebot forums WOW. All because of the kindness of Glo and the trust she has in me

WOW.

All this happened by the first hour of my birthday. It’s now five hours into my day and the party has barely started. I want to write more, and be more specific but as always, time is always running short (that and there are a dozen paid opps at —-, Im hitting around a hundred bucks a day now!). Busy bee.

More later! We need to run out to get my birthday cake - in chocolate of course

So shall I begin ranting about the never ending yaya issues that I have?

Saturday night after the Bebot EB the yaya of Martha made pakiusap that she needs to go home (in Malabon) because her son called saying they dont have food left. So she made advance (na naman) and promised she will be back by 7AM the next day. Take note Yaya No.1 was on leave too, since it was her turn to take a leave (they do it alternately, every two weeks and they take leaves on weekends, going home by Monday morning - minsan Monday afternoon pa!).

As expected, di na bumalik. Ang nakakahigh blood, 1) Ung advance nya di ko na mabalik, and 2) OK sana kung nagpasensya sya eh, hindi! Wala daw syang utang. Anak ng ~^&#@~~~!!!!, 3) Ung yaya no.1 dinedemonya nya wag bumalik! Bwiset!

Now Yaya No.1 came back earlier this morning, sabi nya tumakas lang sya sa anak nya kasi siniraan daw ni Bwiset Yaya kami, kesyo mahirap, etc etc.

Now, the yaya of Martha last December will go back to us this week. Hopefully. Im still on the lookout for Yaya No.2. Kasi my current Yaya No.1 will go home to Bicol come End of Feb.
