Let’s talk about cars shall we? Me and Edil were just talking about what car we would buy once we get the money. Id want the 4-door CRV or any SUV so that we can get a family car. Edil wants one too, but if he had the choice, he would want a Mazda 3 but in his dreams, he’d be driving a Hummer — yeah, in his dreams! LOL, Of course, we need to geCar Insurance for that. Especially since he will be driving in the streets of Manila where reckless drivers abound — wait, he is one too! LOL
Archives for January, 2007
There are so many things that need to be done and the internet connection at home SUCKS! Fluctuating like mad, daig pa nya babae sa contractions! ARGH!
Im going out with Edil to buy stuff for Glo and then Im going to buy a pizza for us tonight. Edil wanted me to cook Saturday – he will be bringing friends over for a drink.
And Martha is clapping her hands to WOW-WOW-WEE.
Great.
I had a low moment last week. I got sick and tired of pumping. And I really wanted to quit. I got so busy at the office, at home, with the digital community, that I felt taking time to pump was eating away my time. Good thing I realized I was wrong – and that I will not waste the almost 9 months Ive been giving breastmilk to Martha to have her go with formula. My goal is to pump until she is a year old..which, when you think about it, is already almost 4 months away from now! Im assuming Martha will wean early. She really prefers eating solds already and has been drinking my milk when she is sleepy. Since I only have one pump, an Avent Isis manual pump, I thought of buying another one to lessen my time, and take advantage of my let downs. Breast Pump Reviews have given best feedback about Avent’s breastpump so I want another one. Im just thinking if getting another one would be worth it – if I will only pump for 4 months, if I can go exclusive breastfeeding again (since Martha supplements with 2 bottles of formula now), and if ever Id get one, Id get it abroad – Avent is ridiculously priced here in the Phils. Maybe I can buy pumps which are just slightly used? I need to discuss it first with Edil.
Im just so proud because the wives’ support group I currently belong to has now na official member/teacher of La Leche League. She has been an inspiration to me to really aim to breastfeed Martha when I was just pregnant with her.
And here is what I need to do:
1. Pay bills, as always.
2. Print Valentine Cards, burn DVDs, ship everything to Jun for Glo
3. Grocery. I will cook for Edil tonight! Wish me luck! LOL. – cancelled, scheduled this Saturday.
4. Take pictures of the family. We havent had a family picture for this month.
5. Finish my round up.
6. Organize scrap goodies.
7. SCRAP!
What is up with nose jobs nowadays? I just read a physical care center open up in a mall! You can shop after doing plastic surgery now?! LOL. Like having rhinoplasty Toronto!

Matthew’s report card for the Third Quarter arrived yesterday and he got excellent grades on Christian Living, Reading and Phonics and Mathematics! I was astounded! I have never pressured him to study or even hovered over him to study – truth be told, we sometimes do not even study at all. SO we are thinking where to enroll him for first grade next schoolyear.
Today…or yesterday, if we will follow what is written in his birth certificate.
Some Edil trivia:
Edil has always celebrated his birthday on January 29th. Up until he went to college and he needed to supply the registrar with a birth certificate. Lo and behold, it said his birth date was January 28.
Off to consult with Ma. His Ma gave birth to 7 of her 8 children at home with the help of a kumadrona (or a midwife). Ma claims that is incorrect since she knew when Edil was born.
In fairness, the birth record shows he was born early morning – which her Ma claims to be true.
So now, we celebrate the true birthday on the 29th.
But we tell legal people it is on the 28th. We tell the kids their Dad’s day is on the 29th but when the school asks them say the 28th. Confusing?
I just say it will always be nice since he gets two birthdays
Leave a note to greet him for me here.
Thanks!
One of the many reasons I want to try Paper Scrapbooking.
Posted on Jan 28, 2007 under Daily Memorables, Scraps | 2 CommentsIt is now WINTER CHA at Anaheim, CA and two of my most favorite digital designers have new paper product lines out! I got this newsletter from Scrapbook.com and I fell in love with the new Fancy Pants’ line, made by, of course, Michelle Coleman and Nancie Rowie Janitz.

If only I can afford to buy them!!!! In time, I will. In time
For now, Ill just get my high buying their awesome digi-stuff at around 6-8USD a kit
And I can have a mini album from them after
. My wishlist at ScrapArtist is growing by the minute. I need to prepare for the upcoming Muse newsletter so I can get the coupon
. I’ve been very very good with digi-purchases lately, Im so proud of myself! I just need to print at least 15 layouts at the photo lab and I’m done with my scrapping goals this January!
I have made a decision not to be such a Grinch come Valentine’s Day – isnt it obvious I even cant stop thinking about it?! LOL. I was viewing my wedding pictures online and I fell in love with my flowers again – so pretty and dainty. So, dear husband, if ever you are reading this (I’m sure you read every now and then, this blog is bookmarked in our browser! LOL), if ever you are getting me (make sure you get me!) valentines day flowers, make sure you get me pink and white roses with carnations in between them. Buy them in a unique arrangement ok?
And if ever you are not from our country, you might want to check Dot Flowers.
