Have a blessed Lent.

I am off to Amadeo, Cavite to “retreat” and spend the Lenten season and celebrate Easter in Tagaytay. Matthew has been spending time with my in-laws close to two weeks already and I’m missing my little brat. Hopefully, we can go to the zoo or the grove and eat bulalo come Sunday.

We have finally cleaned and readied the room for baby G. Aircon is working — thank God! I cannot stand the heat these days, we have forked out close to five digits in baby things (waaaah!), and I think Im getting officially tired from seeing pink — LOL. I snatched in some little yellow outfits but most of her stuff would be pink. I got her a “Daddy’s little princess” onesie which would be perfect for a photo-op.

Yep! Latest sonogram shows I’m 37wks 4 days already, (one week advanced than my original EDD), the head is in position, but my cervix is still closed. Hopefully next week — what do you think? I think anydate between the 18th to 21st would be great. I promised Matthew I would buy him his art supplies, some swimming stuff, and sign him up for basketball class next week so labor would have to wait, LOL (oh pretty please?) I plan to spend some quality time with my firstborn before the little one arrives. Oh, he also would like to have a fish like Stanley (in Playhouse Disney), so I need to get him that one too. At least he was not asking for a dog or a cat.

Having Matthew out of our hair gave me time to connect with Edil though. And it was a great time. Having children eliminated the possibility of spontaneous heart to heart talk, esp. if your kid co-sleeps with you. It’s all good.

In other news, I have another blinkie to show off in my siggy :) I have been accepted to be part of Ange Dawn’s Creative Team! Check out her designs here.

Here are my 2LOs using Gina Miller’s Andrew’s Things (Collection I).

LO55 Bugga Bugga LO59 Matthew's First Swim

I’m still working on her newest paper pack — Garden Treasures, and you are going to love her glitter border collection!!! Check out her store here!

Since Matthew was away, I think inspiration had hit me and I decided to do a LOT of pages about me and Edil ~ and me alone :) The AAM pages have to wait, as Im still deciding the little elements I want to add.

LO58 Seasons of Love LO56 Good Together

And, I didnt know what came over me, but I joined a contest - So You Want to be a SugarBabe? Sweet Shoppe Designs has always awed me with their designer’s creations and the gorgeous LOs of their CT members so I decided to give it a try. Whaddayaknow, we are over 50 contestants! And only one will be chosen! It would be a long shot for me, but the first two assignments were so much fun :) And they were able to let me do a LO I wanted to do for the longest time….my 60th LO, and my best yet — exceeding the Anticipation LO (for me). You can check out my crazy answers to the Qs in Getting to Know You Better here, and here is my take on their Sugarbabe Prompt: Pass it On.

LO60 Keeper of Memories

There are so many things I want to give to my children long after I’m gone, so many things I’m afraid they would simply forget about. So what I am determined to give, now, more than ever, is the gift of our memories. There are words of wisdom I want to instill in them, events I want them to remember, moments that I want to be cherished — and though I may tell it to them again and again, when things change and I get old, my own memory might falter and I will fail to give them the legacy and heritage my wonderful parents have given me. Every moment has a story to tell, and what I want my children to remember and understand is that there are reasons behind every life-changing moment, stories untold and unseen behind every picture, that I am certain would somehow affect them and help them understand life long after we, their parents, are gone. Every moment or story I have captured, every emotion I have written down, are frozen forever in time, and these are my long lasting gifts to my children — gifts which are priceless, gifts which are abound with love. There are so many things I want to give to my children long after I’m gone, and though I have just started collecting little fragments of our memories together, those little fragments are abound with love. It is all about moments, love captured in time.
