Im writing this in the dark. Waking up very early in the morning to check on e-mails have been a ritual for me these days, but Im actually doing this because Im doing something for Edil’s birthday! He’s turning 27 tomorrow! (the Chinese New year) Just a bit of trivia though: He was actually born on the 29th but his birth certificate shows he was born on the 28th, so legally, he celebrates his today, but according to Ma (MIL), he was born on the 29th so we celebrate his “real” birthday tomorrow, haha! Damn those clerical errors in the hospital! Edil was delivered at home (him and his other 6 siblings ~ the last one was born in the hospital) and the midwife might have reported the wrong date (hilo pa siguro). Another trivia which is out of topic actually: My dad had his name as Baby Boy Austriaco for the longest time in his birth certificate! And the funny thing is, he was able to finish school and pass his medical board exams as BABY BOY! Wahahaha! When NSO and the gov’t agencies became stricter, that’s when he found out he was just BABY BOY, and mind you, this was around the 90’s already. So my Dad was BABY BOY for about 40 years, hahaha!
Anyhoo, I would have loved to show you my belly pics but the card reader stupidly doesnt work as of the moment. Good thing though that it has a warranty, but I am itching to have pics from the cam and scrap ~ there is a Matthew Pacquiao shot where Matthew is wearing boxing gloves (because of the Pacquiao win, I tell you. Im surprised he even watched the whole thing with his Dad ~ I was at work and had to rely on the Internet), and there were some goofy shots of Edil I would have loved to scrap for his birthday.
Oh well, I need to wrap this up and work on one element for his day. Let me just share with you my first All About Me scrap. I’m actually happy the way I scrapped it

Journalling reads:
I am a first and foremost, a child of God. I am woman - blessed. I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend. I have always doen things differently, and I generally have an open view on things but have conservative values on myself. I am a perfectionist, who always aim high, yet I am flexible on changes. I am an eternal optimist, who always try to see the beauty of things and the goddness of people. Outwardly, I may seem a snob and intimidating but I’m generally a quiet person who would rather be alone than spend time with people she doesn’t have a connection with. I only keep a few selct friends - who have proven their trustworthiness to me. I am pretty confirdent with myself and have specific goals ever since I was a child. Serving mankind has been for me, the most noblest profession. I have not been able to practice what I want professionally, but I have been caring for my family and that has the best rewards. I have been in love with the same man since I was 13 years old. And I am blessed to have a son right when I needed him most. I have discipline on almost every aspect of my life except eating. For the life of me, I can’t seem to give up on chocolates! Sweets are the instant pick me up and coffee gets me through the gazillion workload I have to do everyday. I sometimes think 24 hours a day isn’t enough for everything I want to do and I am tired all the time with a long list of to-do’s in my head, but I still find to smile and be happy. I have what I need, but most of all I have what I want - a family, great love and chocolate! This is me, turning 25, in 2006.

I called in sick to work today. The flu has belatedly caught up with me and it seems I’ve got a ton of books laying heavily on my chest. I can’t breathe and each time I cough, my tummy hurts. I’m out of breath…argh, the list goes on.
At least, I have the whole day to scrap today! Teehee
(After I cook and clean our room, that is ~ done already!)

Finally! I chance to post! Well, it’s me back to blogger again. I decided to keep my LJ completely “friends-only” as I just got creeped out how anything can be found (and stalked) in the Internet. Sorry, no skeletons for you guys (who are naturally chismosa :P) but there are just some things for me that people who don’t know me need to read.
Anyhow, don’t worry, as I haven’t been updating that either, haha! I’ve been so busy with other things that finding time to blog has taken a backseat. Not that I haven’t planned updating, in fact, I do, every single day, but, with blogger being blocked in the office (that’s the only place I can actually blog with concentration :P), and being busy with other things when I get home (plus having Edil continuously hover at my shoulder waiting for me to finish), you can say I’m having a hard time
Updates: I’m 24 weeks (6 months) as of today. NO, we don’t know the gender of the baby yet, we tried to find out last week but the little imp only showed her butt
I’m calling her “her” because I just have a hunch it’s going to be a girl. I dreamt of it. So, any baby girl names’ suggestions? It needs to have the initials MB the same as her Kuya
Just because I’m territorial like that
Us three girls begin with Mary and our second names begin with A, so take a hint
I’m 6 months looking like 9 months, I swear. No, my nose, thankfully, hasnt swollen yet, pero it will, based from experience. By March, I’ll be a walking Jollibee! The EDD was moved earlier April 26 - May 3, anybody who guesses the exact date will win a little something from me
(yeah, right). Anybody who guesses the size of the baby will too
(I carry big children so you better start with 7lbs up!)
At the homefront, Edil has started his classes with IT and with us having no maid for the nth time, it has been difficult managing time to have someone at the house for Matthew. We are surviving, and my cooking skills are thriving, (harhar) I’m still not liking it though, with me only eating oatmeal during dinner (I need to really control my weight). Matthew is growing up each day to be independent from me, I can’t help but feel sentimental that my little tutie wutie will be a big boy soon. I have been scanning his pictures since birth and well, sorry I can’t help but notice, the brat looks like me despite what other people say
Hahaha.
My parents and sister are finally coming home end of January! I need to clean the house! But I’m excited about it at the same time. I never thought I would say this but I missed my mom *ewwwww*. I’m not that closey close with my Mom kasi.
Anyhow, if you look at the right, there have been added links, because I’ve been hooked with digiscrapping! It has cost me $$$, competing against Edil for PC time, and strained eyes, but I’m slowly learning! I just started the hobby after Christmas so take a look at my gallery and tell me if I’m improving :).
If you’re lazy to go there, I’ll just give you a sample of what I have struggled to learn to do

Until the next update, I need to cook dinner!
