Last night, our maid goes up to our room and says without preamble, “Ate, may sasabihin ako. Aalis na po ako sa katapusan. Uwi na po ako sa probinsya.”

I was too stunned to make an appropriate reply interrogation, so I told her bukas na kami mag-usap.

Nakupo, wala na naman kaming katulong. Hirap na naman kami, lalo na ako. Laba, luto, palengke, aaaaarrrrrgh! Syet. To think I really depend on her to do marketing kasi dati ako hanggang SM grocery lang. Nung nagkaron ng katulong, at least, mas fresh ang greens, fish and laging may prutas sa bahay - which I really eat all the time (healthy eating kuno).

Plus, ngayon pa sya aalis when it's the busiest season of the year! Kelangan ko ng katulong sa paglinis ng bahay dahil mayat maya ang bisita nyan, nyay.

Sumasakit na agad ulo ko. I told Edil to talk to her to bargain in leaving next year na - just let Xmas pass, kahit dagdagan na lang namin sya. It gives me ample time to prepare, and look for a replacement.

Ngayun pa na Edil is pushing more his business/raket and needs to spend time away from home everyday. Tapos mag-aaral sya dapat uli eh. Argh! Kawawa naman si Edil. Stuck na naman sa bahay, hahaha.

Tapos, my Dad's check up at hospital yielded very bad results. High sugar, Right Heart abnormalities, Little kidney failure. Doubtful liver enzymes…COPD…the list goes on. Ang kaba ko, since doctors in the US are stricter, baka di sya bigyan ng clearance to travel back home :(. Dito kasi kaya nya iintimidate ung ibang doctors kasi doctor din sya and his sister is holding an admin position sa hospital….Pero siguro, OK na din yun. Kasi Dad needs to really straighten up his act or else…Please pray for my Daddy din. Mom is aging fast constantly worrying and taking care of him.

Which means we are still in charge of the house until they come home. Which means money, money and money.

Argh.
