The past 24 hours were one for the books. Because 1) Edil and I had our first major fight in 5 months of being married (naks! milestone hahaha!), 2) May bago na ako “most embarrassing moment” na malalagay sa slumbooks (meron pa ba nagpapaautograph ngayon?! hehe) and 3) I attended my first (and last..huhuhu) W@W Xmas Party last night and met again with the wonderful wonderful people who made my wedding one for the books as well c”,).

Actually, dapat kasama ko si Edil pumunta sa W@W Xmas Party kaso late na sila dumating ni Matthew mula sa lakwatsa. Pag dating nila, mega dabog si Aggie at binihisan si Mato (hindi ko na nga na-clean up, madungis pa sya! LOL) at umalis na di sya inaacknowledge. Before you judge me as mababaw, hindi lang yun ang dahilan bakit ako tampurorot. Di kasi kami nagkita ni Edil kahapon (which was our 5th month as husband and wife) kasi umalis sya na nasa office ako at umuwi na tulog na ako. (Naku, mas mababaw ata ang dahilan na yun, hahaha). Anyway, to make the long story long, I was pretty miffed that Edil was insensitive to the fact that it was supposed to be our little special day and decided to go out with friends. Not that going out was the issue or the date itself, I don't have qualms with him going out just so I know when he will come home, where he is going to and who he is with. Kaso inconsiderate eh, I SMSed him making lambing to go home at 10PM so I can see him before I sleep (kasi may pasok pa ako bukas at maaga akong matulog simula nung mabuntis ako), kaso humirit pa ng 30minutes. Isang malaking HRMPH. (Siguro dahil buntis ako, masyado akong emotional, leche — nagrason! hahaha)

Anyway, so we were late to the party. Pasok na ang aking new “most embarrassing moment”. Nakalimutan ko ang aking wallet sa bahay sa sobrang pagiinarte! LOL. Nakakahiya man pero tinawagan ko sa Toni, na take note first time ko makikita at humiram ng pera muna sa kanya. Ayoko naman bumalik sa bahay, buti na lang mabait si Toni. (Hi Toni! LOL). Buti na lang ka-text at YM ko na sya before pa, naging mabait sya sa akin. Toni, babawi ako promise! Mwah!!!

Matthew was his usual kulit, likot and bibo self and in no time, he charmed a lovely girl into reading a book with him. Which left me free to mingle with people, namely Mimi and Karl, Kerwin and Phoebe and the Three Stooges, este, 3logy guys pala. Ang sama ko, hindi ko nakuha yung name nung girl, hehe. Papadalhan ko sya ng drawing mula kay Matthew — magiging National Artist tong bata to eh, magaling magdrawing
I was really happy for those who won: Mimi and Karl, Printed Matter and Threelogy, kasi I have personally experienced their service during my wedding and I really felt they deserve to win. Even with Veluz winning the W@W Supplier of the Year 2005, happy din ako (kahit di sya gumawa ng gown ko!). After five years, promise….hehehehe.

Nakatikim din ako ng chocolate fountain (uli) at ang cake ni Alex. Haaaaaaay, no sweets for me this week na (OK lang, Sunday na bukas! panibagong week na naman! LOL).

So, I was actually going home light-hearted already because I felt I was just attending a reunion party with friends. Nag text na rin si Edil saying sorry so I was a happy happy girl na uli :). Nahirapan lang akong hanapin si Mato kasi nawawala. Nasa harapan pala nanunuod nung band na nag perform. I told him we are going home and he told he was still “listening to music.” HA!

Kaso, on the way home, a man posed as a man in danger, banged our cab trying to get in. Hinahabol daw sya. Pasakay daw. Susmio, natakot ako! Sa side pa naman ni Matthew pumapasok. Buti na lang, Manong Taxi Driver was wais enough to lock all doors. (Ako kasi, I never bother). I was actually having palpitations the rest of the ride home just thinking what could have happened.

And the biggest thing that happened in 24 hours was……..

I found a bouquet of pink dozen roses in my closet when I got home. Which marks a milestone (again) kasi Edil has never given me flowers this year yet Happy Happy Joy Joy na naman ako
Kaya heto, lutang kahit puyat at nasa trabaho.
Marami na akong back log sa e-mail…mamaya uli!
