I just would like to make it clear though, I’m not longing for a baby. I just want to make Yahoo cry! I was the worst playmate ever. When Agnes, my youngest sister was born, I was not allowed in her room for six months (I distinctly remember longer), because I have the tendency to make gigil and simply “kurot”/pinch babies. I also have the nasty satisfaction of making babies cry - I just think it makes them more adorable. Heh. Bad me.

My son is not spared though! I tease him constantly. But he does not cry. He takes after me, or his Dad. He pinches my thigh or whatever body part is more accessible, or worse, bite me! My son will survive school!!

I’m just clearing my head. I’ve only dozed for about two hours since I had to rush Matthew to ER since his right cheek got swollen in a span of four hours! It turns out he had lymphadenitis due to dental carries (translate: nana dahil sa sira sa ngipin). He was in unbearable pain. I was in more pain though when I saw the bill. 1600 bucks for a 5 minute consultation! The doctors didn’t even use gloves when examining him for crying out loud! Since my wallet got stolen, I had no IDs and no Maxicare cards to boast of, I only had 200 bucks in my puruntong shorts (plus my Mom of course), good thing Nurse Boy/Girl was kind enough to call Maxicare to verify if we are a member. I spent another 15 minutes because my name was spelled as Austriaco-Aviso (sheesh! what is up with name changes?) and Matthew’s name was spelled was Mathew. Yak. It saved 1600bucks though. Mom was kind enough to spend for the medicines.

So now, it is going to be another sleepless night since there are no leave allocations in the office anymore. Argh!
